-highlights of the week-
- after 3-4 days of court shoe torture, i am now on FLATS! believe me u really, really, appreciate a nice horizontal position(for your feet, anyway) if u stand for 8 plus hours on end.
- people who complain about customer service, here's something to think about. maybe service may be surly, but sometimes the customer aint so hot either. having seen my share of the ugly customer, all i can say is, its got to be a give and take situation...we cant give you good service if you dont play your part. this includes shouting at us, ignoring us (until they need something. feh.), and calling us stupid(im serious. this really happened.) . sometimes its really hard to believe that the people we r supposed to be serving are on the upper end of singapore society...i wouldnt like to think that our best and brightest are only capable of behaving like netherendal man.
- then again, not all our customers are particulary jerklike...we see our share of pretty good ppl too. :) hands off to my wonderful customers! esp the couple who talked to me about future prospects and degrees...that was great! *cheers*
- all in all, the job is great...with fun co-workers...maybe the pay is low, but its hard to begrudge that when the job is cool. my boss rocks too! :) she's super sweet...tho a bit blur.
